Kirsten Simone is an American actor and playwright. She gained fame for her character Penelope Garcia on the TV show Criminal Minds, a police procedural/crime drama. Kirsten Simone Vangsness has also been a guest on the two spinoff series "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders' and Criminal Minds: Speculative Behavior. Although she's primarily known as a TV actor she also plays some smaller roles in films. Her debut was in the entertainment industry in 1998. The film industry is where she's famous for her performance on "In My Bed", "The Chicago 8" and "Kill Me Deadly". Her articles have been featured in the Los Angeles Times.
