Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actress. Her best-known role is Skyler White in her role on the AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 for Outstanding Supporting actress in Drama Series. Other roles she has played include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She was enthralled by performing in Preparatory School after which she moved to Ohio and her family in later in the 1970s. She attended the British American Drama Academy and pursued a degree in theater through Northwestern University. Anna was employed in the theatre industry in the Chicago region for a couple of years prior to trying her hand at acting in television and film roles. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big performance as Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. In the early 90s she appeared as a regular guest in TV and film, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. In 2000, she was given the role of Deadwood for the part of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played her part in Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood were also part of her career. Gunn did not stop at the stage in the David Schwimmer directed production of Sex With Strangers. Gunn played a part in the podcast's four-part audio drama, Numbered Days. It premiered in 2022. The story of Breaking Bad is usually centered around the relationship between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their strained relationship. The tension in their relationship and the eventual end of it resemble the final years in Walter White's life.
